EcoConnect is a Pune-based Ecological Landscape and Environmental Education Consultancy.

Monali shah, the founder of EcoConnect is a former Architect, now turned into an Ecologist. She has been working in the field of architecture and landscaping for the last 20 years and working for Nature Conservation for 11 years.

"I was passionate about wonders of nature from childhood and traveled a lot to various national parks and sanctuaries to study nature. I worked on bird nesting behaviour and participated in several wildlife census across India. In 2010, I did a post-graduation diploma in "Sustainable development of Natural Resources and Conservation" by Ecological society and that was the turning point in my life. I consciously quit architecture and started working for nature conservation and restoration with various NGOs. I then completed my Master’s in Biodiversity and Conservation."

Monali possesses in-depth knowledge of ecosystems and specializes in plants, birds and restoration techniques.

A blend of architecture, biodiversity and ecology makes her an ideal combination for an Ecological Landscape Designer and Environment Educator.
